Royal Lancaster Infirmary

One group member commented about the staff at Royal Lancaster Infirmary. She said
during her labour everyone was great, the Clinical Lead was great and accommodated
her husband who was suffering with post-traumatic stress disorder.

A group member commented on the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. She said the
community midwives were good, one of the community midwives also came to see her
when she was in hospital. She was induced, and it was very busy on the ward. After the
birth, the staff were very nice and helped her to breast feed.

A group member commented that they had stayed on Ward 33 at Royal Lancaster
Infirmary recently and received good care and treatment and thought the food was
better than expected.

They closed the Vascular Unit at Royal Lancaster Infirmary so I now have to travel to Garstang for Clinic, Royal Blackburn Hospital for the operation, all with hospital treatment at Royal Preston Hospital and Blackpool Victoria Hospital. The travel became ridiculous after the closure at Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

The parking has improved.

I was told I had torn muscles in my right arm and to keep moving. I didn't get a sling or an x-ray. A&E was not busy. Two weeks later I was in pain , i was pale, nauseous, breathless for 2 weeks. I went to my GP and he sent me for an x-ray. I found out my shoulder was broken. I had been driving, cooking and exercising. I have the fracture clinic tomorrow . I have sought legal advice and contacted PALS. I will email Jackie Daniels.

Both Claire and Emma have given me a new lease of life with the care and support they gave me with my breathing and daily oxygen intake, both at home and in the clinic.

The car park is awful. It spoils the whole experience.

Came to visit a friend
