Outpatient appointment

The appointment was straight forward, I did not have to wait long and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The staff at the main reception were very friendly and showed me exactly where to go as I was visiting a family friend.
The ward itself was very good, staff were very polite.
The only issue I have is that there is no zebra crossing from the car park and with cars coming both ways, sometimes it is hard to cross especially if you are with children.

Cardiology appointment

I feel that when you turn up to your appointment you should be able to report to the reception rather than logging in via the machine. If you are not an expert in IT then you might struggle like me as I am 85.
When I came in for my appointment there was nobody to help me.
The service itself was good and I can not fault anything.

Fall at home and head cut open.

Slipped and banged my head against the floor and was bleeding very heavily.
Got rushed to the A&E and the reception booked me in.
As I kept fainting my partner tried to ask nurses for help, they were very rude and no one helped me.
The attitude of the nurses was unacceptable.
When seen by the doctor he asked why I was not rushed in and i explained that we did complain but nurses were not helpful.
I am 73 years old and this kind of thing should not be happening.
The nurses need to have some training.

Once I've got an appointment with my GP the appointment to start my treatment came very quickly. We have a very good NHS in Lancaster and Morecambe, the only people moan about our NHS are the ones who moan about everything.

All the staff were caring, helpful and friendly. The ward was clean as were the toilets.
