I was discharged 3 weeks ago. My baby was premature, born at 26 weeks. I was at the hospital 5 weeks in total with the baby.

Ward 28 Dementia

July 27, 2015
Some of the staff were good, others did not speak English. My mum found it difficult to communicate. The food seemed fine but no-one helped her to eat it, so she did not eat. At the weekend the nurse was not working, but she gave strict instructions to the other staff for pain relief. She was unable to swallow, was partially unclothed and kicking her legs in pain, whilst the nurse was on the phone. The nurses could not find a Doctor to give the pain relief. There was no dignity for my mum, and she did not deserve it. Also she did not want to know anything about her cancer, but the weekend consultant was unaware of this, and he told her that it had spread.

Neurology

July 21, 2015
My child is in hospital in the neurology department. I am concerned with what is happening there. I think my child should be at a specialist hospital like the Walton Centre I worry that my child is going to have more leaking CFS. I think they've done the wrong operation. It started with severe sudden headaches, seizures, double vision and walking problems. My child's brain goes slightly into the spine. The Chiari Malformation Treatment has not worked. Now my child has a big lump on the neck and has also caught MRSA. I don't feel like the doctors are speaking to me and family enough about my child's treatment.

My dad was sent home without an assessment. He had a catheter. He died the day after. The day after he death the hospital rang to say he needed to come back in as an x-ray showed a chest infection and he had not been given medication for it.
