Waited 4 hours. Lack of communication.

It was stuffy and hot. We had to wait 4 hours. We had to ask for water and were offered some in a small plastic glass. There is a lack of communication from staff.
Cleanliness - Grubby.
I can understand if they are busy but it would be nice if someone could say this and say someone will be with us shortly.

Oral Surgery

Waiting time in Xray was about 35 minutes. Appointment at Oral Surgery where I was seen before my appointment time.
Opticians don't work well with the eye clinic

It was recommended by Royal Preston Hospital that I should have two eye tests a year instead of one. My optician told me this was not necessary. I feel as though opticians do not want patients taken from them to go to Royal Preston for eye tests instead. Both opticians and the eye clinic in Royal Preston Hospital offer similar services and are competing and not communicating the same messages.

I went to the NHS and after checking my eyes they discharged me with no further treatment. I went private and now I have to pay £160 every 6 months for eye assessments which I feel I need. I am trying to get back on the NHS list to save paying every time.
