Royal Lancaster Infirmary

They closed the Vascular Unit at Royal Lancaster Infirmary so I now have to travel to Garstang for Clinic, Royal Blackburn Hospital for the operation, all with hospital treatment at Royal Preston Hospital and Blackpool Victoria Hospital. The travel became ridiculous after the closure at Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

The parking has improved.

I was told I had torn muscles in my right arm and to keep moving. I didn't get a sling or an x-ray. A&E was not busy. Two weeks later I was in pain , i was pale, nauseous, breathless for 2 weeks. I went to my GP and he sent me for an x-ray. I found out my shoulder was broken. I had been driving, cooking and exercising. I have the fracture clinic tomorrow . I have sought legal advice and contacted PALS. I will email Jackie Daniels.

Both Claire and Emma have given me a new lease of life with the care and support they gave me with my breathing and daily oxygen intake, both at home and in the clinic.

The car park is awful. It spoils the whole experience.

Came to visit a friend

Had to wait 20mins at reception as nurse was on the phone, eventually I ended up going in myself and finding my client.

Smoking at the main entrance is not good, I have children and I do not approve of this.

Parking was the worst part
