Introductions required prior to treatment

The appointment went really well but I think staff should introduce themselves before they start. The nurse put a brace on my leg but it wasn't for me and I had to explain afterwards. It was quite funny and I wasn't bothered but this wouldn't have happened if she would have asked me straight away and introduced herself. The doctor was very good, I was fully informed of everything and felt reassured. He said he could fix it so I am not as worried anymore
Communication of appointments

Father in law should have had an appointment today at Burnley General outpatients but Royal Blackburn hospital cancelled the appointment and did not let him know. The staff have been mixed about it but only acted when I said that we're not leaving without an appointment. Staff don't seem to believe what we are saying. The pavements are uneven outside and caused pain when my father in law was being brought in by a wheelchair.

I think patients should be provided with tea or coffee. The parking is a big problem. If you are in and out of the hospital regularly, I don't think you should have to pay

I attended for treatment at urgent care. The treatment was first class - I couldn't fault the staff or service I received. Polite and informative, caring and very considerate.
