Minor Injuries

I had to get the bus here when I had broken my wrist which was very difficult. I was going to have to get the bus to Royal Blackburn after being triaged but after some debate the nurse in minor injuries booked me an ambulance to get to Royal Blackburn Hospital.

We don't have another alternative. There's no A&E in Accrington. It wasn't busy when we got here but we've been here for well over an hour.

I come here because it is convenient. It's hard to get a GP appointment. If this service wasn't here it would clog up GP services even more and more people would go to A&E.

It's a bit old but clean and well kept. It's a lot quicker than Burnley walk-in minor injuries - that's why we come here

Didn't have correct equipment.

I chose and booked to go to endoscopy at Accrington Hospital but when I got there they didn't have the equipment, so it was pointless. I'm not too bothered and they've always looked after me.

I came in with my 16 month old son. He is restless with the amount of time waiting. He is hot and crying

Minor Injuries is very busy at the moment therefore there's a two hour wait. I had to leave to go to pick my daughter up after waiting for 2 hours. When I enquired about what happens when I come back later on, I was told that the booking process starts again. More staff are required at busy times and I think there should be more chairs.
Treated well

Whenever I come I'm treated well. I have a spinal injury and I struggle sitting and waiting for my appointment. The chairs are too hard for my back so I have to sit out here on the softer seats

The treatment is on-going and is progressing. The staff have been very nice
