As it was a hot day nursing staff provided cold drinks in the waiting room (free).
Went in promptly and referral on to other appropriate services.

Pressed the button in the toilet but nobody came. Object to paying for parking. Also object to walking through a fog from NHS staff smoking in the bike shed.
Could do with some gravy with the food as it is a bit dry.

The nurses have been absolutely excellent - can't fault them. The problem with the treatment has been conflicting information - some saying enlarged lymph glands and others not. Parking is a bit rubbish - disabled parking is too far plus walking to ward in a big hospital.

I've been waiting to see him but couldn't go in as he wasn't up to visitors. Staff have been excellent.

My dad has been on this ward 2 months ago and it was lacking in communication and they made us feel we weren't doing a good job of looking after him at home.

Lost medication, understaffed, lack of communication. These are problems I have experienced on this ward. Even the consultant apologised for mix-ups in communication. The lifts have been dirty - blood stained.
MAU

Husband has autism and took an accidental overdose of paracetamol. When we arrived at MAU they looked at him like he was dirt. The nurse spoke to him quite aggressively saying "What have you done this for?" He also takes insulin as a diabetic but they said that because it was late at night he could not get any food. I had to drive home and then back again to give him food.
