Absolutely disgusting, rude staff, extremely

					I took my son on the advice of a 111 out of hours gp.
We walked into the hospital the receptionist was rude and more interested in eating his soup.
We then was told to go in the waiting area to the left of us we waked in the was food all over the floor empty packets everywere and drinks vottles not to mention stains o. The floor which could of been anything. We sat and waited to be called into triage were the nirse was tude showed little care or compassion for my autistic son she rammed the thermomitor in his ear and muttered under her breathe. We was then sent to the main waiting area which stunk again rubbish everywere and the floor looked like it hadnt seen a mop in years. We waited 2hrs to the point my autistic son was getting upset with the noise bright lights etc so i went to enquire how many prople was before us and ask if i can take him outside for fresh air.
A male doctor saw me said yeh so i asked to which he replied theres 7 in front we are really not concerned about your son so just wait. So i replied well why are we here then? Can we go home? He went to ask the moody nurse who wed already seen because she obviously knows more than a doctor.she replied do what you want.
The lack of care and compassion from people who are supposed to be there throughout the hospital and the state of the hospital is disgusting and i say throughout the hospital because id been in there the morning before with my partner and seeing someones family member left on a corridor shouting out for help as they walked past and ignored them was awful. One gentleman very old dropped his blanket and was exposed nurses and other staff just walked by to the point i got it and covered the poor man and his dignity up.
Nhs i know your on your knees but seriously this is not good enough.

					Was seen and operated on and out of theatre in 6 hrs. All staff lovely and informative. He was kept in overnight and well looked after. Discharged with all the info we needed and contact details incase there were any further problems or queries. Overall excellent care and service couldn’t fault. Thank you!
				
				
				
				
				DNR order imposed without consent

					My husband was pressured on 7 occasions by Blackburn Royal hospital staff into having a DNR order placed on his file .  The staff were told after the first attempt not to ask again as this caused both myself on my husband great emotional distress. The staff however did not stop applying huge pressure on my husband . My husband was alone in a side ward and under the influence of controlled drugs when some of this pressure was applied . On the 8th occasion the DNR was raised by a Doctor on the ward they imposed a DNR order on my husband against his wishes and that of his next of kin . Why cause a vulnerable patient and his family such emotional distress when in the end you go against his wishes and that of his family ? Royal Blackburn hospital staff are causing lasting damage to the family in the way they have dealt with my husband . The sickening conduct of the hospital staff will stay with me for the rest of my life. Putting unacceptable pressure on vulnerable , medicated  patients into accepting a “care” plan that they don’t want to be on is unethical at best and in my eyes horrific and sickening . Is this how you balance your budget ??????

					Was admitted to D3 then ward 19 at Burnley (physio therapy),to Preston for Brain surgery then back to Royal Blackburn B8 to fully recover. I was in hospital for nearly 9 months although. The doctors were great and I felt fully informed about the treatment plan. The nurses were great,and in my view understaffed, overworked and underpaid.The HCA's were also fabulous but some "bank"staff were lazy and when I raised any problems with the ward manager/Matron I felt confident with their solutions and they were happy listening to any concerns.

					Adult urgent treatment centre receptionist and 2 nurses , had me in tears if my pain wasn’t enough, pulling faces at me talking bad about me round the corner thinking I couldn’t hear and being straight up rude to me , people shouldn’t work in care if they simply do not care

					Toilets were full of faeces, vomit and blood. Nurses were ignorant and rude! Left me dehydrated.l had to ask for water 4 times! Left me unattached to monitors even though I had 2 ampules of Adrenalin. Consultant was useless saw him for 30 seconds. Just stuffing patients in tiny cubicles and leaving them! Over heard nurses talking about other patients massive GDPR breach! The whole place was disgustingly filthy! And to top it off my discharge summary may aswell of been written about somebody else as it is mostly incorrect, times I went in, amount of Adrenalin I had, symptoms I had! The place needs shutting down!

					Had a stent fitted monday n not right. Went in 9.30 this morning wanting to simply have it removed. 7pm tonight told the lasses plesse can you take this drip thing outta my arm ? Im going home. Was there 9 hours and no communication. Left to sit in a chair all afternoon !! No updates, nothing !! Lass said to me yes you can go but its against medical guidance, replied what guidance, ive not been given any ?? Very very poor business model !! Hope all NHS doesnt operate like this ? 					Nurse and other staff unable to move frail elderly mother to a more comfortable position - not told why. Wrong medication attempted! Lack of care, no drinks offered - I had to search for  someone to ask all the time. IV fluids refused even though patient wasn’t drinking enough, until family insisted on speaking to a doctor, after already speaking to a ward sister earlier to voice concerns. Initial doctor in A & E fabulous.
