Doctors are brilliant but the hospital lets itself down at the weekend as not enough doctors - bank staff less familiar and small problems take ages to solve always visibly cleaning. Parking can be difficult . Consultant is absolutely fantasic.

Had a freckle on eye which was found from an optician appointment, come for check ups at Royal Blackburn Hospital to monitor it, my experience has been fine.I feel informed about my condition.

Been messed around by both Royal Blackburn and Royal Preston Hospitals and my diagnosis had been messed up. Currently dealing with CQC and Ombudsman.

The treatment was a bit slow in terms of getting a diagnosis - lots of tests. Apart from changing their minds it was good for information. The majority of the staff were excellent but an odd one was not good - saying things that were unsettling like "you shouldn't be here". The cleanliness is dependent upon which cleaner is there - cloths used in bathrooms and then elsewhere. The food was not very exciting - I think it should be better quality. There was some queuing in the ambulance but I didn't wait long, around 20 minutes.

Cleanliness of main entrance u to WHSmith very dusty. Hard to evaluate as very poorly at the time of being an inpatient.

Very very satisfied and always have been. The young ladies did the test and was good, take photos of eyes. To me the hospital is too big which means I lose my way when I come. Always send me letter and this works fine. Today I was seen early. They are very good. They explain what is happening. I'd recommend it to anybody.

It's brilliant here, nurses are brilliant and all of the staff. And it's lovely and clean. I know most of the time it's busy but they get to you. Letter sent in post and never had problems. If they had a laser I wouldn't have had to travel to Manchester.

Can't fault them. They've been absolutely great, staff are really good and very helpful. They ring when it is time for him to come home and they phone back make certain got hold of you. He has had to wait a while for his appointment. He understands to a certain extent but he is aging so forgetful.

Unhappy with consultant - he keeps making excuses. Couldn't do operation due to assessment. Then another consultant took over and said she could have it at 1.30pm. Nursing staff can't better them but consultant not as good.
