Be curious
Speak to your local Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager! Ask when they open and when they close, check if they are planning to be closed for multiple days in a row and if there are any reduced hours that you may need to be aware of.
Every pharmacy will be different.
The bank holidays this year include 25/12/2022 – 27/12/2022 and 01/01/2023 – 02/01/2023.

Have a look at the pharmacy website or follow them on their social media pages to monitor any changes. Check which days your local pharmacy is closed and ask if they are planning on closing earlier any of the days!
Be prepared
If you find that your usual pharmacy is not open when you need it, investigate alternative pharmacies in your area.

Make sure you have enough medication to last you and your family for the festive period. Check with relatives and neighbours that they also have all their necessary medication. Stock up on the over-the-counter medication to self-manage your care where possible.
