Emergency Appointment

One group member commented about Padiham Group Practice in Padiham. They rang to request an urgent appointment, but were told there was nothing available for that day and that the next available appointment would be in 2 weeks time, which was not suitable.

When I last phoned up for an appointment they said they could get me in two weeks on Thursday, but I would be better by then. It takes a very long time to get through to them on the phone and stuck in the phone queue for ages. I have to show up at the surgery in the morning and wait to be seen. But if you can wait in the waiting room for a few hours, you could say that you are well enough to go to work.

Dr Narayana was on time, actively listened and acted in a way that made me feel supported.
