Booking appointments

when you ring this surgery you cant book more than one appointment. I rang for me and my child and they said i could only book for one of us and id need to ring back to make an appointment. Obviously i chose my child over myself, but i put the phone down and rang back and they said all the appointments had gone so i needed to call back tomorrow.
getting an appointment

my husband wasnt feeling very well so i rang the doctors and they told me i could only get an appointment in a weeks time. We did get seen a week later and they referred him for a scan but they said this would be around a 2 month wait but nothing in the meantime to help support him.
Not happy with the service at the moment

I am not happy with this gp at the moment. It did improve but I can no longer get appointments and the staff can be quite rude at times. They have a acronym on the wall that says OFRA which is openness, fairness, respect and accountability. I don't believe this surgery stands by its motto.
Drs phone call appt no one phoned

Had a Drs phone call appt booked in - no one phoned. Phoned surgery no explanation given why this had happened. A doctor did eventually phone but not the one who the call was originally booked in for.
prescription concerns

the doctors surgery have now changed the way they do prescriptions but it isn't working. They mess up the prescriptions every time even though it is a repeat prescription.
I have to ring several times to see if my prescription is ready and correct. Then when i go to pick up my prescription it is wrong and its what has been sent through to the pharmacist.

language barrier

when I last attended the surgery i was given a new doctor who was polish and couldn't speak a lot of English. The doctor had to call someone to help understand what I was saying. I know a few people complained to reception whilst I was there but they didn't seem to understand the severity of hiring a doctor who doesn't have sufficient English to understand the patients.

I have to travel to this doctors now that they have taken the one away in Plungington and its not very good.
You cant get an appointment and the staff are not very helpful

A great surgery, only spoilt by waiting times and answer time phone or getting an appointment - more staff maybe.
