This department is brilliant.
Intensive Care
April 26, 2016
Transferred to Intensive care from Fulwood Hall Hospital following an operation. I was an inpatient for 3-4 weeks.
Children's Ward
April 26, 2016
Some of the staff were grumpy which is not acceptable on a children's ward. I had to complain.

Long waiting time of four hours and a dirty waiting room

They did a really good job
Inpatient Experience, unknown ward
April 26, 2016
We had an extremely poor experience of the NHS. The nurses dont listen. My father ended up with a bed sore. The nurses didn't change the catheter, he was given wrong drugs. If you complain they take the notes away so that you cannot see what the care is.
Physiotherapist Referral
April 22, 2016
Physiotherapist treatment should be available for all patients right across the board at Royal Preston and Chorley Hospitals not just for those who need surgery. This present ruling is unacceptable and very unfair the hospitals. I have been waiting for a referral to a physiotherapist for a very long time. I was told to see Community physiotherapists however I have been told in three separate places that I cannot see one. There is a need for more Physiotherapists.
unprofessional nursing staff
April 3, 2016
I have yet to experience a member of the nursing staff at any level who look professional. They are a most scruffy looking group of individuals. I believe it is disrespectful to serve the public with grubby uniforms and unkempt hair. Many are seen smoking, shopping and riding on buses to and from work. Disgraceful. If, as a teacher, I had turned up to work like that I would have lost the respect of both pupils, parents and colleagues. I know of some companies in service industries would send their employees home.
Ward 3
February 15, 2016
I have recently been the recipient of the care offered by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS foundation Trust and want to say how impressed I have been by staff at all levels in the organisation.
I have been treated with nothing but respect, kindness, understanding and expertise throughout.
Special thanks must go to Consultant Surgeons - Mr J de Carpentier, -Mr A Cardozo and Specialist Nurse Andrew Fishburn; Radiography at Preston Hospital and all staff- clinical and support - Ward 3 at Preston Hospital.

Diabolical, full of jobs worth nurses
February 4, 2016
Diabolical, full of jobs worth nurses. If the service was patient and carer centered it might help!
