Waiting for quite a long time (5 months) and specialist had to do letter. The lady I saw today was extremely nice. (My voice has now come back).

I waited 8 months to be referred to hospital for my daughter. I was trying to force my GP to refer my daughter as she had had 3 ear infections, it was only when I saw a locum GP at my GP Practice that a referral to the hospital was made. (My GP is Dr D.C. Patel at Broadway Surgery Preston).
When I got an appointment it was at Royal Preston Hospital about 4 months ago. This got cancelled without a reason being provided, I then got this appointment but had to travel to Chorley Hospital to see the specialist.
Waiting time could be reduced to see specialist.
Would prefer to go to Royal Preston Hospital as closer to home. I haven't been to Chorley Hospital before.

Was referred for a blood test from GP this morning.

X-Ray took 1 hour.
Appointment was at 10.30, only just came out - 12pm
If I didn't have to go to X-Ray waiting time could have been less.
Make the appointment time the actual time you see the doctor. Although it is better than Preston (RPH long delay in x-ray).

Been sent to the wrong department. Consultant referring me back to my GP. Have to start the process all over again. Waited for 3 months for this appointment only to be told I am in the wrong department.

To be sent to the right department. I am in a log of pain and I don't want to wait another 3 months for an appointment. GP's fault. See a locum most times /Eaves Lane Surgery.
