Step down was not explained. No one is giving us any answers. Everyone in my flat is arguing as we do not know what is going on. They were told by the CQC that they had to keep the cutlery drawers open and since there have been incidences with knives. All of the main doors were kept open so people were running out.

The food in Herbstones is too expensive £2.00 for a Pudding, £2.60 for curry, 5p for ketchup sachet and the money doesn't go back into Calderstones.

All of the houses are being emptied by April 2016. None of the clients have been told what is going on and when. Some clients have been here 40 years and don't want to leave. 96 clients need to be moved by April and it's just not going to happen. It took 2.5 years to move a few clients recently. People need proper transition plans.

People are being placed on the wards that shouldn't be. This causes abuse of staff and incidents with clients.

I'm in enhanced unit and I don't know if, where or when I'll be moving. Also the CQC said we had to have all of the drawers opened but I really think the knives should be locked away.

Sometimes I have to wait for health centre appointments and GP's. Half the time the food isn't cooked and sometimes they miss me out and the staff have to phone up.

I feel like they keep me here for the money. If you cause trouble you're moved straight away but if you're quiet they want to keep you. I've been here for 40 years and they not been moved.

The only problem I had was with the food.
It tasted bad and there was far too much of it.
The treatment was very good as it was personal and face to face.
