Spiral Health Preston Unit

It is pretty good here. The staff are very helpful, some systems used by Spiral could be improved.

Most of the staff here are really good, I feel they are let down by the bank staff.
Most of the staff will talk to you, listen and smile which is good.

I came here for rehabilitation but the environment is not good.
The place is too noisy, no day room to relax or an area where you go and relax.
They are understaffed here and the bank staff are not up to it, they show no interest in you and talk down to you.
I have seen patients wanting assistance to go to the bathroom at night and the bank staff take ages to come and when they do they are not helpful in anyway.
I have seen male bank staff coming to help women to go to the bathroom and the patients do not like this.
The service here is very poor from what I have seen.
The weekends are the worse here due to staff shortages.
The toilets are not cleaned regularly and properly.
I have seen a staff member cleaning the floors and toilets then a while later they are helping with the food, when I asked about this I was told that person is employed by two different agencies to do two jobs.
I feel Spiral provide a good service but are let down by certain individuals.

Service is good sometimes.
Bank nurses need more training, some have no consideration and some just do not read your notes.
Sometimes my physio hurts and I tell them but they do not listen.
The food could be better prepared as I have an issue with chewing.

The place here is very nice. I have been looked after very well here.

Feel like a holiday camp here, it is fantastic.
The care here is really good.
The staff do everything for me.
I do not want to go home.

Very friendly atmosphere. All the people here are really good. Bank staff could maybe do with some extra training.

It is my first time and it has been very good. It is a new experience for me being in an environment like this but I have been really impressed.
