Airedale General Hospital

It wasn't on my notes that I was autistic. I had a scan and I found it very difficult. I rung up to get prior warning of what would happen. They said I wouldn't have to take my clothes off but then when I got there they said I did. They ended up checking my bra to see if there was wires in it and actually let me leave it on, but it took some persuading. It meant the panic set in as well. The scan music stopped part way through which was traumatising and the staff did not know so I was in left for a long time with very loud noises from the machine. The secretaries were very informative

It's been stressful because it's in my back, but they have been ok.

Dr Cuthbert is fantastic - she is so personal, asks about your family and remembers things you have said previously. She always makes herself available at any time. She's retiring next month and they are replacing her with 2 others which they will try to do to cover the amount of hours she put in. The nurses are fantastic as well, in fact they all are. My only issue is , there needs to be more room when we're having treatment - it is very cramped.

All of the treatment spaces I have been to are cramped. It's a very old building. They do their best. I had to wait an hour for my appointment.

A&E was fabulous

We've been lucky with parking so far.

I haven't had to wait and everything has been very good.

We can never find a car parking spot.
