Rubbish services.
Gentleman who was x-raying me was a bit aggressive.
Arrived at 10.20. Went in to be seen at 12.35.
Less waiting time would help to improve the service (coming out of work to come here).

Should have a cut off point at Triage.

5.20pm - at Triage we were told if we're not seen by 8.00pm we would have to leave.
Based on how busy West Lancashire Health Centre is they should have a cut off point. If they accept a patient, the patient should be seen & not turned away. We didn't get to see a doctor. It's a necessary service, seeing a GP.

Whenever I've come it's been very good.
Very pleased with service.
Used to be free parking for West Lancashire Health Centre users but they changed it in September 2015 so we now have to pay.

Without an appt waiting time is quite long.

Without an appointment the waiting time has been quite long - if seeing the GP over 1 hour wait, if seeing the nurse this can vary. I've been coming everyday for the last 5 weeks. Sometimes the information provided has been a bit vague.
About 1 hour wait.

A system to show when you will be seen or what position you are in the queue. No feedback on times is frustrating.

Mostly excellent but one shocking occasion

My first appointment was fabulous. The second appointment was with a junior gynaecologist. She refused to see me and said I needed to go back to the surgeon that treated me. I was there as I had an open wound. I feel this was discriminatory as I am in the process of gender reassignment. I shouldn't have been expected to drive. I was accused of inappropriate use of the surgery. Staff in general are excellent, it was just the one doctor who refused to treat me. This has happened in a previous setting with the same doctor, so I assume she has a problem with trans-women.
