The Knowle Care Home

My Mother, Zita Histed, is current resident at the Knowle Care Home, 5 Egerton Road, Ashton, Preston. On the 28th December 2015 and 2nd January 2016 she left the home due to slack security to wander the streets, on the second occasion for 5 hours, causing a massive Police search. My mother is 73 and has dementia with a Mental Capability Act / Deprivation of Liberty order requiring she be kept secure for her own safety. Due to negligence this frail old lady was subject to the harsh elements of winter for hours. I'm most displeased with their lack of capability in keeping residents safe. Also the food is cheap and nasty, there are loose flagstones in the garden and the conservatory roof leaks
