Disappointing staff attitude and abusive.
October 18, 2025
I had a deeply frustrating experience at Well Pharmacy on Dickson Road, Blackpool. After waiting over half an hour for my prescription, the dispenser handed me only part of my medication and told me to return the next day for the rest. When I asked to take my prescription elsewhere, she reluctantly gave me the missing slip—but still didn’t provide the medication.
I had to approach the desk multiple times to clarify what was missing. The dispenser appeared confused and discussed me with the pharmacist in a dismissive manner. Eventually, she returned my prescriptions and told me the painkillers weren’t available. On her way back, she shockingly called me “rude as f*.”
This level of disrespect and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. The staff showed no courtesy, empathy, or basic customer service etiquette. I strongly urge NHS and Well Pharmacy to review this location’s conduct and training standards. Patients deserve better.

consult with the pharmacist about a UTI
October 28, 2024
I visited today as I had symptoms of a UTI
I couldnt get a GP appointment in person or on the phone.
I had tried 111 but no joy with them and I didnt relish the idea of going to urgent care or A&E as an insulin dependant diabetic I felt it was something I needed to get sorted more urgently
The service was quick efficient and thorough. The pharmacist was friendly but professional and prescribed some antibiotics which were dispensed from the site
Fantastic service
