A &E terrible experience

Terrible experience at Preston RPH, it’s not fit for purpose, overcrowded and disorganised. Was first sent to wait for a doctor who saw hardly any patients. Then was told that was a mistake and was sent back to wait in general A &E. There was no oversight of the waiting area. There were people in real distress who were left waiting, all the time I was there. Poor quality run down facilities with not enough seating, a prisoner lying across several seats while elderly people were left standing . It didn’t feel safe. I live locally but would avoid this place if at all possible. I left after 3 hours and went to Chorley, where I got fast and efficient treatment.
