communication with patients
i went for an appointment at RPH to see a gastro specialist and i couldn't fully understand what he was saying, he spoke so quietly and i asked him if he could speak up for me. i was lip reading him and i told him what medication i am on and what medication i cant have. he told me there was a prescription waiting at the pharmacy, when i turned up they said do you know what prescription this is and i said no. they had prescribed antibiotics when i cant have them as i don't have the organs to filter them. i rang the hospital but they said if the specialist has prescribed them you need to have them.
