Diabetic illness

I have recently been diagnosed as a diabetic. I was rushed to the hospital and kept in for 5 days, the treatment I received was awful, the consultant prescribed me my medicine which I had to have, he set the drip up and asked the staff to put my medicine in. The staff forgot about this and this could have killed me had it not been put to staff attention by my family. The hospital needs more staff and awareness raised for illnesses and what can happen if urgent action is not take. The only place where I was cared for properly was in the coronary care department.
