How I have been treated with my wrist operati
On arriving for a appointment to see a consultant i was told the computer system was down i had taken a day off work for this appointment and lost a day's pay. The receptionist offered £10 for a taxi which wouldn't get me home. Then on another occasion i had a appointment with a consultant wich i took another day off work. When I seen the consultant. He asked me what I was there for i told him it was about my wrist he then told me he didn't do wrists. And called the head nurse who's attitude was at least we are better than the NHS wich surprised me. Hence another day's pay lost and travel. 3 times my operation was cancelled. On one occasion it was because I was on antibiotics. Then whilst I was on holiday wich I had informed them about i recieved 3 phone calls over 3 days telling me i had missed my pre op it was the hospital that had cancelled my operation. Then I received a letter for a pre op on the 6th of November only to receive another letter to change the appointment to the 8th of November then that after noon after receiving the letter in the morning i recieved a phone call telling me the consultant was no longer working at the hospital. And would i go to another hospital where he was working. By this time i had. Had enough and told them to refer me back to my GP this as gone on for about 18 months if I had stayed with the NHS this operation may have been done.
