Ormskirk District General Hospital


Orthopaedic

X-ray at Southport hospital - was impressed in and out. Came to Ormskirk, appt was at 10.30 now 11.50 still not been seen. Only one consultant on today. Son working night shift so had no sleep so still waiting. Been waiting 8 months for an operation re-construction ATL - ligaments in his knees. Waiting time - notes as 60mins with an apology but have waited over this time. Had to go to Southport hospital as they can't do the x-ray at Ormskirk. Went to Southport - paid parking £2.70 then came to Ormskirk. As there is a delay we are going to have to pay more for parking than we would have otherwise have done had my son been seen on time.
