Understanding Autism - Complex Care Team

January 8, 2016
I've been with the complex care team for depression. My children have autism. There's been a series of communication failures. Because the panel are from different providers, everything seems to be extremely difficult, jumping through hoops, waiting for things. I have asked them for re assessments but have struggled. Do I have a legal right to obtain my records? Staff have threatened to reduce my funding since I have asked for a new care coordinator. There are too many assessments - it's not improving my health, it's making me more anxious. I'm worried about others that are less able to speak up.

Awful Experience

-No beds in Lancashire, a lot of people waiting for beds in mental health.
-Community care has been cut due to funding.
-Risk to peoples life.
-Not enough staff.
