Bad treatment

December 22, 2022

Got referred to Woodlands in 2020, diagnosed and offered mood on track. Put on medication, when this wasn't working and the side effects outweighed any benefits, I was offered a medication review. Went to this appointment only to find it was a discharge meeting. So I got discharged, still needing help, with no medication and nothing in place. To top it off, instead of offering any support, they contacted DVLA and told them I was unfit to drive, taking away all independence, and meaning my son has to live with grandparents as I can't get him to and from nursery. I can now barely leave the house due to having no transport which you can imagine has made my mental health worse than ever. Thank you woodlands!

Ordering of thoughts

My regular meetings with my care coordinator teaches/ reaffirms my coping mechanisms which makes my life bearable.
