Difficult to get appointments and discuss

My wif has been trying get an appointment for her 87 yr old disabled mother, who although not housebound has difficulty getting about, making it hard to get to the surgery. Was told to "do it online", neither are tehc savvy, receptionist talked her through process. When my wife rang back later receptionist said it hadn't gone through and try again tomorrow. Eventually appointment made for over 1 week later at 9am. Again explained situation with regards mobility and getting her there for that time, appointment moved to 9.30am. Let's see how we get on.
