Quite good but hit and miss re appointments
Quite good but hit and miss re appointments. I was diagnosed with locally advanced prostrate cancer earlier this year. The GP I originally saw was excellent ( sadly he has since retired) - carried out examination, ordered PSA test and phoned me himself twice regarding results the following day then made fast track referral. However the practice was badly let down by a power crazed receptionist. Following biopsy and scans I was prescribed Hormone therapy which involved one of the practice nurses giving me injections. The said receptionist declined to make the appointment saying she would pass the information to the nurses. To cut a long story short she only made the appointment at the THIRD time of asking about a week later and then only after we told her that we were going to make a complaint. All the other receptionists are fine but this one spoils the whole practice. My wife and brother in law have both had similar experiences with her
