Firstly we are very disappointed to read this review. We operate an open door policy and would always welcome feedback either good or bad. However if matters are raised with us at the time of concern, it gives us the opportunity to put things right.
We pride ourselves on providing high level of person centred care with residents, family, and friends contributing to the care planning process. All our residents have a robust Nutrition and Hydration assessment which includes level of assistance required. We respect residents choices at meal-times and promote dignity and independence. Our meals are made up of excellent local produce and nutritionally balanced for each individual. As well as promoting independence and choice, our nursing staff monitor dietary intake and would escalate concerns to appropriate professionals.
Infection control policies are in place and followed to ensure high levels of cleanliness and odours.
Our staff build up a good rapport with our residents and families that promotes open communication.
