Boots Chorley Market Walk

I get my prescriptions sent to the pharmacy at the shop in town as it is easy for me to get hold of my tablets there. I was given a prescription for a new medication. I went to the shop to collect it and was told that the order could not be completed because the pharmacist had put a stop on it. They asked me to speak to my GP and they resubmitted the order saying it shouldn't have been blocked. I returned to the pharmacy who told me that I would need to wait 48 hours to pick up the medication.

Two days later I went back to the pharmacy who said the order had not been sent through. I rang my GP who confirmed the order had been made. I was told that I would need to wait another 24 hours by the pharmacist. I have submitted a complaint and now received the medication but it was appalling how they handled and explained the situation to myself.
