Asda Pharmacy Hyndburn Road

I am recently suffering from sleep loss. Without going into too much detail I was hoping to buy something short term to restore my normal sleep pattern which is good. I suffer from a condition requiring medication and answered the first question honestly. "Are you on any medication"
Was then told. It's a no then
I replied well it isn't a no. I can just buy something over the counter. I was then made to wait an unspecific amount of time for an unspecific reason. Then the Pharmacist came through clearly already rather irritated. I was asked unspecific hard to answer personal questions about my illness in the middle of the busy shop rather than the interview room and due to trying to ascertain the point of seemingly unrelated questions was told abruptly that she was trying to help me but that I should just forget it.
Lack of sleep can seriously adversely affect my illness. I was asked nothing at all about my current usual sleep. Any recent events which may of triggered the problem.
At best a misunderstanding. At worst unhelpful staffing at this Chemist. Whatever it is absolutely appalling customer service hence the complaint.
Oswaldtwistle Pharmacy were professional polite and helpful so I have gained some help. Asda Pharmacy appalling.

What makes these till operators think they can breach your data protection by shouting out or loudly asking for your data protected address and name in full hearing of everybody?
