Healthwatch Lancashire publishes annual report
Every year, Healthwatch Lancashire publishes an annual report. The report looks back over the work and impact we’ve generated from March 2019 to March 2020. This year’s report, includes a series of project highlights, case studies from our excellent volunteers, summaries of some of our largest engagement activities and a look at our priorities for 2020-2021.
Presenting 12 months of work in a 32 page document, the report is a varied overview of a year full of engagement, listening, sharing and working hard to improve and inform our local care and health services.
Producing our report is a large and rewarding undertaking. Seeing the impact and reach of our work, and the generosity and dedication of the many thousands of Lancashire residents who have shared their views with us, is great to see.
As the responses of our Covid-19 survey, and our team’s personal experiences attest, we know that the past few months, and the months to come present many challenges to us all and our health and care services. Publishing our annual report invites us to look not just at the year we’ve completed but also the year ahead.
In 2020-2021 we will continue to work closely with individuals and communities to hear and share the views of our county. We will step up alongside the people of Lancashire as we continue to adapt to changing circumstances. We will work hard to amplify our county’s experiences of health and social care services.
