I haven't long moved into the area and I got given this surgery, they have been nothing but helpful, they have given me a social prescriber who is helping me with housing and my mental health.
not helpful staff

My relative was on a weight loss programme through the doctors and has poor mental health. they attended for a session and a member of staff said they were wasting patient time coming in and I should try and help myself. They felt very ashamed and shamed by the practice.
My GP is excellent

My GP is excellent, he always takes time to listen to me and talk though everything. It can be difficult getting through on the phone to make appointments but if you go in the receptionist will make them for you. The phlebotomist is also excellent
Lost my prescription

Needed my repeat prescription for inhalers, original prescription not signed off by GP, then no record of any prescription with pharmacy
Surgeries combining has caused problems
May 26, 2023
Since the surgeries have merged it's very difficult to get an appointment, we've also been round in circles trying to get the right treatment. Have had issues around how we get our prescriptions sent over to the pharmacy in that we have had to ask for our repeat prescriptions every time and then we're not always aware that they have been sent over. The GP is excellent - when you can actually get to see them
hard to get any contact with them

they have three surgeries that they run and i feel they take more time on the other two surgeries attached than the Leyland surgery. I feel the patients are being left out.
I had to ring for an appointment the other day and i called over 100 times before i got through.
