care wasn't very good

i rang my gp to book in a smear test and they said due to staffing they cant facilitate my smear test and i would need to go to another surgery where they are doing them. i told them i was visually impaired and i wouldnt be able to travel and they didnt seem bothered by this.

They don't let you email them which I find very difficult. I'd rather not have to tell the Receptionist about personal problems. I work full time and I tend to build up different health concerns and try to go through them all in one appointment. They don't let patients book appointments in advance which is also a challenge for me.

Left feedback re son being deaf

Holland House knows my son is deaf - it's on his notes. However at this surgery in Freckleton the receptionist did not look up so he couldn't lip read her and his name was announced on tannoy which he didn't hear. I asked after why and she said it was on his notes but NOT on the appointment system so receptionist did not know. She took my name and called me back to say the IT had been changed so if a person is deaf it now shows on the appointment section as well as on his notes. Brilliant response. Very pleased.
