Volunteers and health and social care representatives share their ideas at annual celebration event
Yesterday, our volunteers and representatives from the health and social care system came together to share their views and ideas of areas of work they think we should focus on in the next year.
At the event coffee and cake event, which took place at our offices in Leyland, attendees were asked the questions “What do you think we have done well in the past year?”, “What do you think we could do better?”, and “What suggestions do you have for raising brand awareness or areas of work we should focus on?”.
The group shared excellent ideas which will be used to help us decide which areas of health and social care we should focus on in the future.
We are continuing to celebrate our achievements at the following events this week:
- Tuesday 5th of July – Age UK Lancashire in Ormskirk
- Wednesday 6th July – Age UK Lancashire in Chorley
- Friday 8th July – Lancaster Library
Sheralee Turner-Birchall, Healthwatch Lancashire Chief Officer, said “Our Annual Report highlights our considerable achievements in 2015/16 and the creative and engaging projects we have delivered to give members of the public the opportunity to voice their views on local services.”
“Next week will be a celebration of this fantastic work and an opportunity to thank our volunteers who have participated in a wide range of activities over the past year which has made our achievements possible.”
