Reports on two Spiral Health CIC units published following patient engagement events.
Healthwatch Lancashire has published two ‘Patient Engagement Day’ reports which capture the experiences of patients at Spiral Health CIC’s Bispham and Rossall Units.
53 people took the opportunity to share their views with Healthwatch Lancashire during the two events. The reports each include a response from Spiral Health CIC.
Healthwatch Lancashire is delivering a programme of Patient Engagement Days in hospitals across Lancashire to hear people’s experiences and influence service improvement.
24 of these events have taken place across Lancashire since September 2015 with more than 1,200 people sharing their experiences.
Sheralee Turner-Birchall, Senior Manager at Healthwatch Lancashire, said “Patient and relatives input into the way services run can be invaluable as they have an experience that staff can’t access. Sometimes seeing services from their point of view opens up real opportunities for improvement that may not have already been considered.”
“Healthwatch Lancashire would like to thank Spiral Health CIC for their response to the reports and for any actions that will be put in place as a result of our findings.”
