Have your say on NHS…111
Healthwatch Lancashire is launching a campaign to listen to resident’s experiences with the NHS 111 service.
Throughout January, a time when winter-pressures are having a dramatic impact on local healthcare services, Healthwatch Lancashire is looking to learn how aware residents in Lancashire are of the NHS 111 service and if they found it helpful.
The 111 service was introduced for those who urgently need medical help or advice and should be used when medical attention is required if it is not a 999 emergency.
The Healthwatch Lancashire team will be engaging with residents in various locations across the county, including listening to patients in hospital accident and emergency departments, to collect the views of the public. The findings will then be shared with those who manage, run and regulate health and social care services.
