Healthwatch Lancashire volunteers complete safeguarding training
A group of Healthwatch Lancashire volunteers and staff, including board member David Ashley, completed an interactive and engaging Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults training session this week.
11 new volunteers were part of the group which participated in the training session which covers the identification of vulnerable adults and understanding of core safeguarding principals and procedures.
Healthwatch Lancashire volunteers, who have an important role in listening to resident’s comments, compliments & concerns of local health and social care services, are required to complete the training.
