Healthwatch Lancashire launches ‘Your Care and Getting There’ campaign
Healthwatch Lancashire has launched a ‘Your Care and Getting There’ research campaign to gather views from members of the public on how they travel to primary health and care services in Lancashire.
The study aims to gather views from residents across the whole of Lancashire relating to their transport to primary care services such as GP practices, dentists, health centres, opticians, and pharmacies and the impact this has on attending appointments.
The Healthwatch Lancashire team will be engaging with residents in a variety of primary care settings and community settings across the county to collect the views of the public. The findings of the research will then be shared with those who manage and commission health and social care services in the county.
Healthwatch Lancashire is appealing for people to take a short survey to share their story and experience of getting an appointment in the past 6 months on their website: www.healthwatchlancashire.com/transport
