Healthwatch Lancashire is looking for the “real people of Lancashire”
Healthwatch Lancashire is looking for people to have their say on health and social care by taking part in a campaign to find “Real People of Lancashire” throughout May and June.
The public voice on health and social care, Healthwatch Lancashire, wants the residents of Lancashire to get involved with a new campaign by taking photos and sharing their thoughts about health and social care.
Members of the public are being encouraged to take part in the campaign by downloading and printing a speech bubble from the Healthwatch Lancashire website, and writing their comments, feedback or anything they would like to say about health and social care in Lancashire. Their photo can then be entered into the campaign at www.healthwatchlancashire.co.uk/realpeople. They can even be shared on social media using #ShareAboutCare.
The Healthwatch Lancashire team will also be looking to find more ‘Real People of Lancashire’ during engagement activities in all areas of Lancashire within health and social care services to encourage people to take part in the campaign.
Neil Greaves, Healthwatch Lancashire Communications Manager, said, “Healthwatch Lancashire has the role of listening to real experiences from real people in Lancashire, which is what our real people of Lancashire campaign is all about. We want people in Lancashire to share about care.”
“This engagement work demonstrates the important role Healthwatch Lancashire plays in ensuring health and social care services improve by listening to patient and public views and opinions.”
