Healthwatch Lancashire engages with local residents for NHS 111 campaign

This month, the Healthwatch Lancashire team have been visiting hospitals, GP surgeries and pharmacies all across Lancashire to gather the public’s feedback about the 111 service. Healthwatch Lancashire is the public voice for health and social care, and is engaging with the residents of Lancashire to gain a clear picture of how aware the public are of NHS 111, and any experiences they may have had.

The 111 service was introduced for those who urgently need medical help or advice and should be used when medical attention is required if it is not a 999 emergency.
