Health Education England want your views

Health Education England would like to hear from healthcare staff, students, educators, patients, families and anyone else with an interest in improving the quality and safety of healthcare through education and training.

The Commission on Education and Training for Patient Safety has been established to improve the quality of patient care and safety by making recommendations to Health Education England (HEE) on how best to educate and train the health and healthcare workforce in order to deliver safe, person-centred outcomes now and in the future. The output of this will be a report in November 2015.

Please share your experiences with them. What do you think of current education and training for patient safety? Do you have any examples of best practice you would like to share? Where do you think improvement is needed?

Please submit responses to Health Education England will be collecting evidence until 31 August 2015 and your feedback will help inform the Commission’s report.

If you have any questions about this work and want to contact HEE directly, please email
