Healthwatch Lancashire has launched a research campaign to gather views from members of the public on dental health services in Lancashire.

The study aims to gather views from residents across the whole of Lancashire relating to their access to primary and emergency dental services and how they would like to see these services delivered.

The Healthwatch Lancashire team will be engaging with residents in various locations across the county to collect the views of the public. The findings of the research will then be shared with NHS England in addition to those who manage and commission dental services in the county.

Neil Greaves, Healthwatch Lancashire Communications Manager, said: “Our campaign aims to find out what really matters to people in Lancashire when it comes to finding an NHS dentist or how they would like dental services to be commissioned.”

“The aim of the campaign is to gather some really useful intelligence which can be used by NHS England which will result in people in Lancashire receiving the dental services they want and deserve.”
