Healthwatch Lancashire publishes quarterly newsletters called “Lancashire’s Voice” which show how your voice is being used to make a difference to health and social care in Lancashire.

Each issue of Lancashire’s Voice includes information about current campaigns related to health and social care, updates about the work of all those involved with Healthwatch Lancashire, as well as stories from volunteers, staff, and members of the public.

Summer 2016

Our Summer newsletter summarises the achievements of Healthwatch Lancashire since the Spring.

The newsletter features articles about why our volunteers dedicate their time to Healthwatch Lancashire, reports on access to flu vaccinations in Lancashire's pharmacies, our contribution to NHS England's Person-Centred Project and findings from our Macmillan Cancer Support and Healthwatch on tour events.

Spring 2016

Our spring newsletter summarises the achievements of Healthwatch Lancashire since Winter 2016.

The newsletter features articles about how Healthwatch Lancashire's findings have contributed to changes
in East Lancashire hospitals, reports from patient engagement days, findings from Healthwatch & Macmillan on tour events and a statement from Healthwatch Lancashire's Chairman, Mike Wedgeworth.

Autumn / Winter

The newsletter highlights some of the great achievements from Healthwatch Lancashire since the Summer and recognises the fantastic contribution volunteers have made to giving people in Lancashire a voice when it comes to health and social care.

The newsletter features articles relating to our programme of Enter & View visits and Patient Engagement Days which gather valuable insight into how you are telling us services are performing. There are also stories about a focus on food at Calderstones Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, our shortlisting for a research innovation award, Healthwatch Lancashire’s contribution to safeguarding and qualifications achieved by members of our team.

Our Summer newsletter provides a summary of the key achievements for Healthwatch Lancashire between March and June 2015 including articles about improvements at Royal Lancaster Infirmary, launch of our Real People campaign along with information about events and published reports.
